Cheerios Theme 1st Birthday

Major Props to Amy at Stem Parties for creating this amazing and unique 1st Birthday Party with a Cheerios theme!  Every mother knows Cheerios is a mainstay in the ever-evolving life of a toddler.  Just look at all the imaginative details in centerpieces, backdrops, and other decor:
Look at the ridiculously cute invitation that got this party started!  Little "cheerios" made out of cork table protectors & attached to plastic spoons!...Swoon!!  You can read about all the details on Amy's blog.  FYI: she's hosting giveaways this week ; )

On your centerpiece with the vase and cheerios. What did you use to make it look like milk and make the cheerios float on top?? Please share

Here you go Patty - From Amy, the designer:
-cut plain white printer paper (landscape) to the height/size you want for the "milk" line
-roll the white paper and put it down into the vase
-stuff it with filler to take up space so you don't have to fill the cheerios to the top - i used styrofoam
-put cheerios on top
Hope that helps! : )
