Designer Kids Tables For Weddings & Birthdays

Ever think about the fact that during most weddings the kids of your guests are all but forgotten?  I came across this innovative business called Petite Fete in Toronto in which Azie, the owner, provides child care during the event, and does it in high style.  Genius, Right!!  Azie provides a gorgeous party setting and includes activities and favors so the grown ups can enjoy the event worry free.

Here are some of the designs that represent her business.  Notice how upscale they are but still have kid-appeal.  Azie's services are also available for birthday parties.

While the above parties are adorable for younger children, I think the 2 below would be well suited for elementary age up to pre-teens and teens.

I just adore all the attention to detail, and I think there are some great ideas to inspire you when planning your own child's birthday.  Meanwhile, if your in the Toronto area, give Petite Fete a call!

A Winter-Warming Party

I'm simply thrilled to share this gorgeous party design with you, created by The Party Wall, with the printable party selection by my friend Bird of Bird's Party.  The display was done for a feature in Austin Woman Magazine, and depicts a sensational idea of a "Winter Warmer" party with hot cocoa and lots of treats.

You can see for yourself all the lovely details, but I specifically love the candy bar invitation, and the sweet mug favors.  You can see every detail by visiting the participating links above.

Vendor Spotlight - Hey Babycakes

Remember the Sweet 16 party I did, here?   Well, I wanted to share with you the "sweet" vendor who provided the beautiful and delicious cookies we set out for the guests favors.   Nichole of Hey Babycakes answered my call-out on Facebook for a rush, custom order.  I sent her a draft of the printables we were using from Love the Day, and she was able to duplicate them in her cookie design perfectly!  I was so pleased with the result and they tasted as good as they looked!

Autumn Party For Kids

Owl Themed Sweets Table

This sweet table was done by Michelle of Maddycakes Muse.  Another fun Owl Theme with fantastic woodland touches!  You can read all about her easy DIY tips for making this design perfect, over on her post.  I particularly love her signs made from simple cardstock and burning the edges for a rustic feel!   

Owl Themed Treats Table

I have 2 adorable Owl Themed tables to show you today.  First up is this treats table sent in by Jennifer Hamilton who is working on a start up event planning company.   This was for an "Owloween" party but it can obviously be used to inspire any owl or woodland themed event - baby showers, birthdays, engagements, etc.   Here's what Jennifer has to say about the dessert table:

"My dessert table was the spotlight, and all of the food was owl themed. I made the cake pops....my 1st cake pop experience!! They were devil's food cake on the inside and I made a batch in chocolate and a batch in orange (to match my invitation). They turned out great and were a HUGE hit at the party. I also made the owl cookies, owl brownies, and mice truffles. The owl brownies ("wise old brownies") were inspired by Dylan of Dylan's Candy Bar in New York. I added a piece of sheet moss in the middle to give it more of an "outdoorsy" feel and draped the table in brown burlap.  Black fabric was the backdrop and a large yellow paper lantern hung for a full moon"

I think she did a great job with the decor and the 'full moon' lantern was very clever.  Those ADORABLE fabric owls are from Jason Parker Counce ; food labels from Sugar Tree Studio.  I look forward to seeing more from Jennifer!
