This weekend I did a Sip & See to meet a precious new baby girl, Lillian Grace. This was a floater/open house style event so we just set up a snacks table and drinks table for everyone to leisurely help themselves. Decor consisted of lots of pink with green and brown accents (colors of the nursery); frames with quotes about little girls; florals accented with pink plastic pacifiers (also submerged in the centerpiece vase); hanging poms and fans; and the baby's monogram, "LGF", used in several places.
Pops of pink were continued in the food/drinks with oreo truffles dipped in pink chocolate coating, pink lemonade, pink marshmallows on the hot chocolate bar, and strawberry milk shots for the younger set that came through.
Think about hosting a Sip & See. It's a great way to introduce the new baby to everyone!

I'm wanting to do the same thing when my girls arrive. How did you word the invitation to make it open house/floater style?
Sabrina, we actually put the title "Open House" on the invitation. You could also add in, "Stop by for a little while and meet baby Kate."
